Intervention Tip of the Week:
Did you know that the public library provides homework help 7 days a week for students in the 3rd – 12th grade? All you need is a library card number or username and password to login. Follow these simple steps and you will be able to get help from a tutor in all subjects, including reading and writing!

- Click on: Services
- Select: Homework Zone
- Click on the icon that says “Homework HelpNow!
Our Valley Hi-North Laguna Library also offers homework help for students in grades 1 – 8 on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 3:30 – 5:30 p.m.

2nd Grade is almost over!!! Only 5 more days and they will be 3rd graders!!!
It has been a wonderful year and I can’t believe it is almost over. Each student has done amazing things this year and I am proud of them!

Wheelbarrow Garden:
Our wheelbarrow garden won 2nd place at the Sacramento County Fair!!! The kids worked hard and did a great job!

Memorial Day
Don’t forget that there is no school on Monday in honor of Memorial Day. Memorial Day is a day to remember the men and women in the military who have died in service to our country.
Wheelbarrow Garden:
Our wheelbarrow garden is still at the Sacramento County Fair! You can go visit and check out our garden compared to other 2nd grade classes! The fair is at Cal Expo May 21 – 25…admission is $5 and kids 12 and under get in free! I hope you can take a trip with your family and enjoy a day at the fair!
