The best part about me is my legs. They help me jump on a trampoline, ride my roller blades, and most of all to flips and tricks. When I use my leg to jump on a trampoline it feels like I’m jumping like a frog going thirty feet up in the air. When I use my legs to ride my super duper cool pair of roller blades. It feels like I’m as fast as a cheetah, maybe even faster. Finally, my two very own legs help me do cartwheels and roundoffs. I feel like a windmill, I go up, down and around. The best part of me is my legs. (Techainlly, it’s my calfs, but close enough).

Last weekend I went to a drive by party. This little girl named Brooks’Kylie was going to have a birthday party, but because of the Corona-virus she had to cancel it. Her mom’s friend put out the idea to have a drive by party. Now, her mom didn’t tell her this was going on because she didn’t want to disappoint her again. The turnout was amazing, so many people drove by and honked for Brook’Kylie, some people like me and my sister made posters for her. My poster was kinda special, I had put my moms number on there and my address. People might think this is weird, I’ve never once met her before in my life. We are now pen pals. When her mom texted my mom she said,” This will be great writing practice, she turned six and is in kindergarten.”

Dear Ms. Adams, you and Jacques would love to watch a TV series that includes actors Zendaya and Bella. It’s called Shake It Up. I strongly believe that you two would enjoy this show because one of the main characters is obsessed with school and grades while the other main actor is obsessed with fashion, her hair, and makeup.  They dance on a show in the show called Shake It Up Chicago.  Secondly, they have the healthiest friendship in all of Chicago. They are honest, funny, and laugh together all the time. Last but not least, the show itself is hilarious, you and Jacques would laugh the whole show. At one point Zendaya had to eat a whole meatball, that was like twice the size of her face (she was a vegetarian). I really hope you watch Shake It Up. It has good friends, school, and dance, also super hilarious. Who wouldn’t love to cuddle up on the couch with their dog, drink tea or coffee and watch this show?

These are the two main actors.

One day me and my sister, and her friend were walking to school. (Now this is the day of our annual school Olympics). As we were crossing a street my sister’s friend said, “Is that a dog?” So, we went over to the dog and it ran away, but it was in a court so it didn’t get far. My sister, Angelina, picked up the dog and it had thorns in it’s fur and feet. We continued to walk to school. They walked me to the corner of school; they were on summer break. They brought the dog back to my house, and tried to take all of the thorns out of her fur. Now let me tell you, her hair was pretty long. Then I got home from school and was doing my homework like always. We hear a knock on the door. We open it and it’s her owner. After talking to the owner for a little she told me and my sister that we could keep her. She told us that she would come back with all her food and information, but she never came back. So, we all waited for my mom to come home. A few weeks later my mom’s cousins came over. We were trying to find the right name for this little doggie, which is a girl. One of my mom’s cousins thought of the name Roxie, because that was her grandma’s dog’s name. 

 This is not ,I repeat not my dog. this is exactly how she looks.🐶🐶🐶🐶

This is a true story. Me and my family love this dog so much. She is cute, soft, and can make you feel so special. She can make you happy when you are feeling sad, or mad or even upset. She is now an adorable 50-60 year old Yorkie in dog years.

One day Rory the leprechaun woke up and had a bowl of cabbage. He was so tiny that it took him two hours to eat. Then he took his pet hippo, James, for a walk. They went to the end of the rainbow and back. James got tired on the way home from the walk, so Rory took him to Taco Bell. There they found Rory’s cousins. They had their two pets, a donkey and giraffe. They were so tired after the Taco Bell trip that they took a five hour nap. They woke, then up went for another walk. This time they went through a double rainbow. Rory loved to get his steps in, so that’s why he takes so many walks. He was overweight just like James. They were the overweight buddies.

This poem is not about the cold.

This poem is not about the wind blowing in your face.

It is not about getting in the freezing car on the way to school.

Nor freezing your tush off waiting for your teacher to pick you up.

It isn’t even about getting up in the rainy weather.

This is a warm poem.

I believe that second hand smoke is a danger to not only adults, but even more to tiny children. One reason is that people can get terrible lung cancer. For example, lung cancer can cause many children to live their lives at a young age. Another reason is that it could endanger the mother and her unborn child. For example, it could put the mother in early labor. For all you smokers out there, grab a pair of scissors and cut up your collection on cigarettes.

Yes smoking is legal, but if you want to save the lives of many. STOP NOW

During Christmas, my family and I went to Monterey CA. My siblings and I only got one present each and a stocking. Some kids would think that isn’t a lot, but you wouldn’t know because I have not told you about my whole trip. My mom and Dad did so much to make this trip fantastic.

On the first day we walked up and down what is called,” The Old Fisherman’s Wharf.” I got a sweater that says,” Monterey, California born from waves.” Not only did I get a souvenir, but I had the time of my life. We looked at the water and saw some sea otters.

The second day of going to Monterey, we had gone to the Aquarium. My family and I had seen huge fish, octopus and penguins, and much more. Afterward, everyone except for my brother, and gone to the beach were you could climb a bunch of huge rocks. My sister and I found crab shells, star fish, and hermit crabs.

 The best part of the whole trip was spending time with my loving, caring, and kind family. You would not believe the Xmas I had. It was so indescribable.

Fall looks like tall scarecrow staring down into my eyes, and puppies in very cute and adorable costumes. Fall also looks like leaves blowing in the roaring wind. 

Fall sounds like my family saying,”Happy Halloween” to my neighbors, and crazy gobbling turkeys running all around. Fall also sounds like me yelling,’’Trick-or-Treat.”

Fall taste like pumpkin spice EVERYTHING, and candy corn coating my sweet tooth. Fall also taste like the juicy turkey fresh out of the oven.

Fall feels like a time were the weather gets colder, and seat warmers  making my behind warmer. Fall also feels like slimy pumpkin guts while carving a spooky pumpkin.

Fall smells like freshly-cooked, golden turkeys, and pumpkin pie that mother just took out of the oven. Fall also taste like the gooey maple dripping down the the giant trees that shoot up into the heavns.

 I made this Android character because it looked like something fun to do. I also like to wear boots in the winter. It has a flannel on because I love to wear flannels. The different colored flannels are pretty cool. I prefer to wear blue, red, or black ones though. I also love to listen to music. It’s just relaxing, fun, and can make me feel better.
