Oobleck was named after a material in a Dr. Seuss book. Oobleck is created when you mix corn flour or cornstarch together with water. This creates a fluid slime like material that is known to not follow Sir Isaac Newton’s laws of fluid. If you put stress on Oobleck, it will turn into a solid. If you move your hand slowly through it, then it feels like moving your hand through water. This happens because when you hit the Oobleck hard and fast with things like your hand, the particles of the corn flour or cornstarch packs together making it a temporary solid. When you move your hand slowly and gently throughout the Oobleck, the particles have time to move out of the way allowing your hand to pass through like water.

I have learned from watching the two videos that when you stand something up like a domino, you store energy and when you tip it over you release its energy. The bigger and heavier the object, the more energy it stores and release. I also learned that a chain reaction machine may look complicated but when you look at it step by step, it’s very simple. When you’re creating a chain reaction it’s easier to start off at the end than the beginning. It’s like writing a story, you know the ending, so you can write the whole story leading up to the end.

     Most people would prefer a dog, hamster, guinea pig, or a goldfish. If I get to have a pet, I will choose a cat.

     First of all, cats can’t dig holes. Unlike dogs (who dig big holes and put things in them), cats can’t dig holes. They do not steal stuff from you and dump them into holes that they made in your backyard. Cats won’t just take something from you and dig a hole and burrier it. When you give your cat a treat it wont burrier it in your backyard or your lawn.

     In addition, cats are fun to play with. They don’t just swim in a water tank while you look at her/him. You can send your cat off to bring you a mouse (that is probably dead) and other cool things. You can play with your imagination and play firefighter with your cat you can let your cat climb a tree and get him/her down.

     Finally, is that a cat is not as loud as a dog. Dogs bark and make it impossible to sleep. Cats meow quietly. In my experience, my neighbors have about 6-9 cats. It was quiet and easy to sleep. But when my neighbors bought a dog it was super hard to fall asleep.

     In conclusion, when you want a pet that can’t dig holes like dogs, are fun to play with, and aren’t as loud as dogs than a cat is perfect for you.

      My sister, April, and I have similarities. First when we go camping we go crazy. We don’t sleep a lot. But we sleep through the three hour drive to the camping spot. When we get there we usually find shade. Also, we both love our baby sister. She is one year old and a few months. Every day after school she will give us a hug. We like to play with her. She likes the ABCs. Last, is that we both love playing video. The best games are the free roam games and survival games. I am the one who usually do missions and April is the one who gather the food and other important things to survive .

      My sister and I also have differences. One thing that is different between us is that April doesn’t like fishing and I do. Every time we go fishing April passes and I always go. If she does go she won’t fish. I will. Another thing is that I’m scared of heights. If we go onto a high cliff or a tall building I’m going to be scared. But my sister won’t. She will still have a reaction, but not like mine. Lastly, I’m very shy and my sister is not. My sister can talk to anyone. I can’t. My sister is the social butterfly and I am the lone wolf. I always think of the “what if”. Like if I talk to someone, I will think of all the ways they will not like me. My sister don’t think like that she just talks to them. As you can see, April and I have a lot in common, but we also appreciate each other’s differences.

Hi, welcome to my blog, visitor. My name is Michael. I’m shy at school. But if I’m somewhere else I talk a lot. My sister say that I’m annoying and when I’m a school people tell me that I’m shy. So I’m both, shy and I talk a lot. My birthday is at new year eve, which stinks. I’m also going to be 10.

Now I’m going to talk about my family. I have two sisters, one is one year old and the other is in sixth grade I’m also the only son. My Dad has five brother and three sisters I think and one brother is In the army. I think my Mom has four sisters and I know she has three brothers. My grandparents came from Los. They came from Los because of the venom war.

I’ll tell you the way they do our culture. They will do a sacrifice and get a animal not a person. We will cook a pig, goat, or a cow, or maybe all. But we mostly eat pig because cow coast to much and I won’t eat goat. We will also eat chicken. My culture also believe in spirits.

Anyway I like to read because that’s the only thing I can do unless we go camping, fishing, hunting, or school. The the kinds of book I like are when a person tell about their life or they write in a book like “Diary of a Wimpy Kid”, or “Diary of a Minecraft Zombie”, and “Dorks Diary” (only because that’s the only book I can read).But I also like mystery books like a book where there are ten people and they are in their old house and they have treasure and it goes missing. More like a detective book. I also want to be funny and less shy. Also our house Is a home to spiders, ants, rats, mice, and other nasty bugs.

Now it’s time to talk about my interest. My favorite animal is the wolf. I like how they work in a team and how they hunt, also I like dogs. I don’t know why I don’t like lions though. I like the cheetah to. It is the fastest land animal. But in my opinion I think the wolf will win in a race. Also, I like pokemon. I have like hundred pokemon cards. My favorite pokemon is ash greninja. He is a human sized frog and he/she (yes it can be a girl or a boy) is what it sounds like. It is a human sized ninja frog. I also like riddles and brain teasers, since I like them here is one,“what comes once a year, two times a week, but never in a day.” If you can’t figure that one out then show them to you friends. A lot of people (probably everyone at school I know) don’t know that I like anime. DO NOT TELL ANYONE. The type of anime I like is where there are fightin, pokemon, or war.

Now that’s out of the way I’ll talk about what I don’t like. For me I don’t like the way Elk Growth is. I like the way New York is, where you just walk. For Elk Growth you just drive, maybe you will walk a mile or two to go to the store, but mostly driving. Also I don’t like all of the safety for here. I know that it’s important, but for Korea they are fair and if you don’t know how to speak Korean and you need to give money to do something, you can put money on your hand and they will take the right amount. But for America they will take whatever they want if you do that, maybe not everyone will do that, but most. The thing that I don’t like the most is fighting, war, or anything that will involve hitting. Why can’t we make peace or just talk. Maybe they can just do chest or just make a deal, the thing is why do they need to fight about everything. I also don’t like the modern world. I like the old days better. Without these cool gadgets. Some technology, like the car or the cell phone, is a gadget that I will like only because it is an important gadgets. Also on weekends I like to read, study, sleep, stay on my bed but not sleep,and ride my bike. Well, until next time.
