It’s time to start runnin’!!!  Florence Markofer Elementary School will host its second annual jog-a-thon fundraiser on Friday, September 16^th.  The school will kick off this fabulous fundraiser with a lunch time assembly a week before the big run.  Students, teachers, and families are invited to a fun-filled, kick off and a full quarter mile lap on the Markofer Track.  Every student in the entire school will particulate, and Lucky, the Mustang mascot, will lead the fun run. 

The school’s jog-a-thon hopes to raise $20,000 for our librarian, school supplies, technology, field trips, and other items.  Each student will ask family and friends for a per-lap or a “flat” donation.  Plenty of prizes will be available for students and teachers and families.  Students have the chance to win the grand prize of an iPod Nano!!!
