The Daring Book For Girls

The Daring Book For Girls by Andrea J. Buchanan and Miriam Peskowitz is an amazing book that teaches a girl how to do a lot of things like playing basketball, doing a cartwheel, how to make a cootie catcher, etc. Even though I read this book I didn’t really understand how to do a cartwheel. Some things from this book I already knew like: how to make a cootie catcher or some Greek roots. One thing that this book taught me was how to tie a sari. This book taught me a lot more than I thought it would.

I would recommend this book to ONLY girls. (from the title) Enjoy!!!

Haunted Animals True Ghost Stories – Allan Zullo

Haunted Animals is a great, but kind of a scary book. There are a lot of chapters about different animals. This book is 128 pages. One of my favorite chapters was Rescue from the Beyond. What happened was there is a girl named Megan and her dog named Hamlet. Hamlet loved Megan so much that he would put his life on the line for her. They live in a neighborhood that is not very nice. One time someone broke into Megan’s house and the dog fought off the bad guys.  I would love to have that dog. There is one more thing that happened at the end of the book. If you want to find out, then you should read the book Haunted Animals by Allan Zullo.

More Haunted Kids True Ghost Stories – Allan Zullo

This book is a scary book. It includes several different true ghost stories. I like the story about The Headless Train Man. It is about three girls named Allison, Sasha, and Robyn. They were having a sleep over at Allisons house. Allison’s dad is telling a story about the Headless Train Man that only comes out on stormy days and only goes to Daisy Hollow. The reason the Headless Train Man goes there is because that is where he died. Allison thought her dad was just trying to scare them. So Allison suggested that night to go out and look for the Headless Train Man. If you want to know if they find the Headless Train Man, you should read More Haunted Kids True Ghost stories By Allan Zullo.

Drums, Girls, and Dangerous Pie- Jordan Sonnenblick

I know it may have a weird title but this is the best book ever. It’s about a boy named Steven who has a pretty normal life, he plays the drums and has a crush on the hottest girl in the eighth grade. But one day his family finds out that his little brother Jeffery has cancer. Now Steven’s life is turned upside down when he has to deal with his brother’s illness, keep the family in one piece, has home work to do, and has to practice his drums. So if you want to find out what will happen with his little brother and if Steven’s life will ever be normal again, you will have to read this book. It’s easy to read and a sad book. It will appeal to both girls and boys.
