Miles to go- Miley Cyrus

This story is an autobiography about Miley Cyrus on her road to success. In this story Miley Cyrus tells the touching story of her honest life. This story has stuff from private moments with her pappy, trips with her father, and being bullied by the mean girls but her upcoming role made her turn into one of the mean girls. She also talks about heartbreak  and suffering through drama. This book also gave Miley a chance to look back at her life. She also included a list of 1 00 things she would want to do before she dies. When Miley was auditioning for the role of Chloe Stewart( yes, Chloe Stewart) her and Emily got in fights so many times they  had to be separated during auditions. I would rate this book a 7 out of 5. Do you want to know who Chloe Stewart is? Do you want to know why Miley and  Emily were always fighting?  Why is Miley now one of the mean girls? Read Miles to go by Miley Cyrus to find out.

Black Beauty- Anna Sewell

This story Black Beauty by Anna Sewell to me is a very beautiful story. It all begins when Black Beauty was born at Squire Gordan’s Park. Black Beauty was a beautiful black male horse with black hair that never bites nor kicks. He then plays around with his friends who were the colts, colts are horses but much rougher. Black Beauty then gets sold many other times but once he got sold to a man that treated him well but he lets people rent Black Beauty. This is when he met his horse best friend Ginger. Ginger was a beautiful horse very much like Black Beauty but has brown hair. Then Black Beauty tells his story on how the people that rented him always would whip him and would do so with the other horses. Later on he had very good luck because he went to a fair so that he can get sold again and he saw this grey eyed old man that treated him very well and then the man bought Black Beauty and took him back to his house. There he got trained to be a cab horse. But one day he saw his old horse friend Ginger and Ginger was way out of shape. She was weak and got very skinny but when Black Beauty had to go home he kept on wondering if that could be Ginger. If you want to know if that was really his best horse friend Ginger or if Black Beauty gets sold again then you will have to read Black Beauty by Anna Sewell.

Mary,Bloody,Mary- Carolyn Meyer

What if you were rich, had a happy life, and was the only child in the family. That’s what Princess Mary Tudor’s life was, until her father, King HenryVIII betrayed her mother( Queen Catherine), and made a new religion. The reason beyond that was because King HenryVIII wanted to marry Anne Boylen, because she promised him a son, whom will take over his throne when he passes. But Mary has a different impression with Anne, she thinks she is a witch! So when King HenryVIII divorces Queen Catherine, Mary’s life has flipped from princess to servant, riches to rags. Of course most people would know what happen to Queen Anne, but this book is just from Mary’s point of view.  I think mostly girls would like this book, because it is about a princess, and it’s a girl’s point of view.

Doomed Queen Anne-Carolyn Meyer

This story is about a very awkward life of a girl named Anne Boleyn. She wasn’t what you would call a young girl “destined to become queen”. But she’s gotten more and more what you would call “courage” growing up. While she is a young adult, she is determined to get to the top. So, she uses her advantages to win the heart of King Henry VIII. But, since King Henry VIII wanted a prince and Anne could only provide a princess, he did the unthinkable, he had her beheaded! Just because she couldn’t provide a prince to take the thrown for him!

This book was very interesting for me to read, because I didn’t know about this kind of stuff. I would give this book a 10 out of 10 because I love, love, love historical books! This book would appeal to boys and girls that love history like I do.

So to wrap this up, I’ve got a few words for you! Get up, get ready, and READ THIS BOOK!

Guts – Gary Paulsen

Gary Paulsen, the author of Hatchet and other Brian’s books, has been through many experiences in the wilderness. This book lists all of his experiences. He tells about moose attacks, plane crashes, cooking and more! One time when Gary was working for a farmer, a moose charged at the farmer’s Ford. It took Gary and the farmer weeks to repair the truck. This book also tells how to cook meat without a pot. Did you know that there is something called Pit Cooking? This book is almost like a biography of Gary Paulsen’s life. This book teaches people about what to do or not to do in the wilderness. I hope you find this book as interesting as I think.
