One of the reasons why you should agree why Raymond Case is a great school is because of the staff.The staff are great because when we walk in for school they will greet us with a “Good morning.” or a “How are you?” even though it could be their worst day.Next, they help us learn new things.Even the teachers are great.My teacher Mrs.Compton always helps me learn new things everyday.Lastly,they look out for us.Our school has a lot of wonderful yard duties, and they always look out for us during recess to make sure we don’t get injured and do the right thing.Some people may think that the staff are nothing but I think that they are wonderful people.This explains why the staff are great people.

The second reason why you should agree that Raymond Case is a great school is because of the sports.When you play sports on a team you can meet new people.Your friend is not always going to be there to play with you so you may meet someone new in your team.Next,is You can learn new skills.Our P.E teacher Mr.Alan  teaches us new skills all the time.Like in basketball he will show us how to hold the ball and teach us how to throw it.Last,you get the exercise you need.An average kid should get an hour of exercise in a week.Mr.Alan makes sure we participate in ALL activities.Some may say that exercise is unimportant but it think it is important.This explains why exercise is good for our body.

The last reason why raymond Case is a good school is the activities we have.First there are clubs that have many subjects. Some of the clubs are drama club,science,math etc.Next,is there are bees that test how smart we are.Some of them are spelling bee and african american history bee.Lastly,there are many events during the year.Team time are one of the fun events we have every month we people can come and tell us about their program and what we can do to help .Some may say that the events boring,but I think that they are fun and exciting.This explains why the activities here are fun.

   Do you want to know some cool facts about the sun? The sun can be our friend but is very hot. Here are the top 7 facts  I think are cool about the sun. You really can’t look at the sun to see this, but a flare can happen every 11 years. A second fact is the sun contains 99.8% of all the mass in our solar system. Also it has been 5 billion years since the the sun was formed. Wow that was long ago.  This is a cool fact that I did not know but the sun is actually a star to our solar system. The size of the sun and the distance away from Earth are huge. Get ready, the size 1.3 million and it is 93 million miles from Earth, but only takes 8 minutes for the sunlight to reach Earth. Lastly, this is a cool fact, but even thought the sun look like it is big it is actually smaller compare to other stars. Well those were my seven  cool facts about the sun.

Do you want to know how to make a quality comment? Well then you can read on. First,to make a quality comment you will have to always  have to capitalize the first letter in the sentence. Also always and a punctuation at the end of the sentence. It doesn’t always have to be a period. Secondly, make sure it is specific about what you liked  to make the author feel good about their writing. You can make it like a letter, but you don’t have to make it like a letter. Lastly most important don’t make it inappropriate,or negative. Keep in mind your teacher can see your comment.

One day I saw a kid and an old lady about to be hit by a car.I ran over and the little boy waved his hand as a signal  to let the car know to stop. I came to the lady and made sure she was OK then went to the little boy and congrats him. I then went in my house and thought to myself.

“Hmm. That boy is outstanding for doing that.I can’t just congrats  him he needs something else.Something bigger. Not a toy. I’ve got it! I can make a monument! But, just how?” I mumbled.

Just before my answer  Zoe my friend was at the door. I told her my idea and what had happen. She asked for the kids name and i told her his name was Austin. I told her I didn’t  know how to get the money,the right tools ,the spot, nor the people.She then replied

“I have the right Idea.”

She took my computer from my desk and typed in “Fundraising.com’’

I then asked her, “What in the world are you doing?’’

She responded, I am making a fundraising page to raise the money’’

She then mumbled to herself.

“Once you have the money you can get the tools and the spot to start  your monument.’’

I told her “Where will I get the people I need ?’’

   “Uhh.HELLO!  I will work for you with no payment.’’She shouted Ok, Ok, no need to shout I am literally  right here next to you. Are you trying to make me deaf ? Ok back to work.’’

When we looked on the screen we already had $1,000!

We looked at each other bewildered .

She told me that you can get our friends to help with this project Deborah and Ellie.

We then took it to Facebook while Zoe was texting them and asking it they wanted to join. I made a page and asked random people if they wanted to join or donate. In an hour or two I went to the page and there was already $7,500. I was to surprise and call Zoe.She then came over with  Ellie and Deborah. Ellie stated that we can rent a Bulldozer for a year for $11,000. I said yes, but we need more money I told everyone that my dad has a Jackhammer so we did not need to rent one and he has some other tools we can use for the monument.We then shipped a letter to the government asking if we can have some space to start our work and we will give him the money and we will get our tool. After, two months we raised a lot  of money, over $23,000 but we still did not get our letter.

“Maybe he is too busy to read it.” Replied Deborah.

“Or he just thinking.’’ Added Ellie.

“OK s-stop making me nervous.’’ I stutter.

  That was when the doorbell ringed.

*  Ding! *

We all looked at the door.

All beside me  ‘’You have mail on Sunday!?!’’

“No no. Again,- am right next to you don’t make me deaf !’’

   I walked to the door and there was a letter for all of us. I walked to the couch and sat down and open the letter and they all learned against me and $ 1,000 came out.I read the letter , it spoke

‘’Yes you are able to do this project . I would be delighted to come to the opening ceremony! I am so sorry for the delay. We got you a house to live in  near the mountain .We also have you free tickets to the the area. Sorry but you can’t do at M.T Shasta.We gave you the spot Harris Peak in Las Vegas. We also got you all free tickets there.Oh one last thing I gave you some money to help out and I will send another letter so you can start this project Thank you so much for asking and for your time.

The Governor ‘’

‘’Wow.That was awesome!I never ever touch something the Governor touched’’ I cheered.

OK now we will have to wait.

So we waited and waited.Two months past and we finally got the letter.The tickets also arrived.So we packed our stuff and we head off to the airport.We got on the plane and I fell asleep not knowing what was happening.But next I felt someone poking me on my cheek and I accidentally slapped them.

‘’EEE OOUUCHH !! That hurt really badly Jewel ! Bawled Tealine.

 “Wait how did you get on this plane?Also why?’’I Question.

“Oh because I came here for vacation. What about you?’’Tealine asked

“We came to do a project, do you want to work with us?’’ I requested.

“Sure if you tell me what it is’’

“We are building a monument for a boy who saved an old lady. We asked the governor if we can have a spot to do it and he gave us Harris Peak to work on.’’I Stated

“Ok we will need to get off and go to 5th avenue 9532 (Not Real).’’ I spoke.We rented a car and we drove to the house and it was colossal.We stepped in and it was so pretty.There were also some tools such as jackhammers,polishers,a box of explosive, and a bulldozer outside. We built a sculptor as a model.We worked on it for five months to make sure we had all of the right measurement so we did not do this wrong.I had a picture of him on my phone because I came to his party.So we all knew what he looked like.We then got an  ring at the door.

*Ding!*

“I wonder who it is?’’ I mumbled.

I open the door and saw lots of people.

“Are you the people that are joining the sculpture project ?’’ I stated.

  All ‘’Yes we are !’’

Well, since you are here you guys are all here we will get to it and we will start today! We rented some cars and drove to Herris Peak.When we got there the governor was there with lots of caution tape.

‘’YAY! You have made it here I got you some more tools and make sure they dont play with the explosives and I got you all ear buds so you won’t become deaf.’’ Shouted the Governor.

He then took us to the top and let me go down to see if it was secure  and some of the members held me so I would not fall down the mountain.He told us that he will be going and we were on our own. I told everyone my plan and how it was going to be like and how we are going to do it.Then I told everyone that we will know start. They gave me a laser beam that when you point the light it leaves a mark so I outlined what the monument would look like.The group then lowered me down so I can mark where we are putting the dynamite. We worked on it for about 9 years until it was done.

‘’WOW! We are done with the project! Now we just need to polish it.’’ I beamed.

So 16 people were lifted down to polish the monument.It was marvelous! I really wanted the Austin  to see this but he was not here then I thought to myself

“I can use the extra money  we have to buy him a ticket!’’ I shouted .

So I bought two tickets for him and his mom to come and see this monument. We packed up to go back home and we gave the ticket to them and we told them why they are getting these tickets.When they came back they were so surprise.They thanked me and they told me it was awesome.

All of our hard work paid off and now it is one of America’s  biggest and greatest monument.
