Bear Business, the publication of James McKee Elementary School student articles that is published monthly in the Elk Grove Citizen, is turning 20 years old this month. McKee was the first school in the district to begin the publication of this student page of local school events which has since won numerous awards.
We are planning a special celebration to commemorate this award-winning collaboration on January 28, 2011, at 9:00 a.m. in the Large Multipurpose Room at James McKee for 2nd through 6th grade students. Roy Herburger will be our featured guest. Several Board of Education members and other dignitaries are slated to attend.
We also wanted to invite all our parents to attend this very special event as well.
