Dear Jackson Families:

I am excited and honored to be the Principal of Isabelle Jackson Elementary. Though the beginning of the 20-21 school year will look different than prior years, we are still committed to providing all of our students the same outstanding educational experience you have been provided throughout the school’s history.  Safety of our Jackson students, families, and staff is a top priority.  This year we will begin with a Distance Learning format following the guidance of the Sacramento County Office of Health and the County Office of Education.  We know the importance of in-person instruction and are ready to transition back to that model as soon as we are able.  We understand the strain on families Distance Learning can cause.  Know we are here to support our students and families in any way we can during these unprecedented times.

Distance Learning will be a new experience for both our families and staff, and it will take our cooperation and collaboration to make this year successful.  Communication will be critical during this model of education.  Do not hesitate to reach out to your child’s teacher or our office staff with any questions or concerns.  Though we will have challenges as we transition to Distance Learning and eventually back again to a traditional instructional model, recognize we are all in this together, and that is how we will get through this—together…because #WeAreJackson
