Bob Martin is a multi-award winning sports photographer that specializes in shooting action, graphic and editorial pictures for advertising , corporate and editorial clients.
During his career span of thirty years, he has photographed every major sporting event; from the last thirteen Summer and Winter Olympics, to Elephant Polo and Horse Racing on ice. His work has taken him to the furthest corners of the world, and his photographs have been published in numerous publications including Sports Illustrated, Time, Newsweek, Life Magazine, Stern, Paris, Match, Bunte, L”Equipe, The Sunday Times, and The New York Times just to mention a few.
A resident in his native England, he is currently the only Sports Illustrated photographer based outside of the USA.
Bob Martin’s photography has been recognized by 57 national and international awards. He is a three time winner of the prestigious British Sports Photographer of the Year also having won the World Press Photo Sports Picture of 2005.
Bob’s most recent event was the Winter Olympics in London of 2012. There, he was appointed as overall Photo Chief based in MPC.
