The First Day of School is TOMORROW,

Thursday, August 15, 2019!

Greetings Students and Families!

Your Franklin staff and teachers are excitedly preparing for your arrival tomorrow, the first day of school for the 2019-20 school year!  We will greet you at the front gates with a fun pencil and a ready smile … if you need help figuring out where to go, we can help with that, too!  This is going to be a fantastic school year filled with so many great activities, learning experiences, and memories, Pioneers, and we can’t wait to embark on our collective new adventure!

Remember to arrive EARLY this week, especially if you are new to Franklin Elementary and haven’t experienced morning traffic.  You may wait in the car-line and drop off by the front gates (staff will be there to direct you) or you may park in the parking lot OR in front of the school in the gravel area directly east of the cemetery.  The south lane of the long driveway is reserved for families to walk into school from the front–PLEASE find the sidewalk once you are near the parking lot and USE THE MARKED CROSSWALK.

You MAY NEVER EVER park directly on Hood-Franklin road and walk into the south driveway EXIT.  Hood-Franklin is a busy road that originates directly from the freeway with LARGE TRUCKS & cars travelling at higher rates of speed and negligible shoulder area on the side of the road.

Our students’ and families’ safety is of premier importance!  Thank you for being:  Respectful, Responsible, and Safe drivers!

💚 Pioneers, sleep well tonight and know that we are excited to meet you! 💚
