Create a google account:

1. Start at gmail.com and click on the “create an account” button. Be sure to choose a user name and password that you will remember.  Once you have done this go to your gmail, go to the contact section (on the navigation bar on the left).  Create a contact for Mrs. Lints and enter the e-mail address as emilylints@gmail.com. 
2. Next, click on the top nav bar “documents”.  This is where you will store and create documents for the research paper. 
3. Go to google.com and click on the igoogle button on the top right and create your own igoogle page.  Once there, click on the button that says “add stuff”.  Add the gadgets for google bookmarks and google docs.  You can also add a gadget for gmail if you like as well.
