For more than 50 years, Elk Grove Adult and Community Education (EGACE), a division of the Elk Grove Unified School district, has established itself as a vibrant and flexible educational system that has organized and implemented effective programs and services to meet the needs of the adult learners and job seekers throughout the communities of Elk Grove and South Sacramento. EGACE serves more than 4,000 adult students annually and holds full accreditation status from the Western Association of Schools and Colleges.

Through our Sacramento Works Job Center, South County, we offer career counseling, employment referral, and access to career training. We also specialize in providing workforce development for youth ages 18 through 24.

Adults of all ages may choose from a range of educational and testing services including career training, high school completion, English language acquisition, and U.S. Citizenship preparation. To help you strengthen your academic skills, our College and Career Preparation Program (CAPP) can assist you in brushing up on your math, reading, and writing skills, and help you to develop a detailed plan to meet your academic, career, and lifestyle goals. Our Always Learning Community Education program offers workforce training and personal enrichment classes that will help you learn new skills in everything from fine arts to finances.

Thank you for taking the opportunity to learn more about our programs. Let the teachers, support staff, and administrative team at Elk Grove Adult and Community Education help to make your future a little brighter.
