Josh: So one way to be healthy is by eating fruit.
Breanna: Wait! Jimmy Jam Joe did you talk about Vegetables?”
Josh: Did you say “Vegetables?”

Chelsea: ” Hi im Chelsea.”
Serena: ” Hi im Serena.”
Chelsea, Serena: ” Were here to tell you about Anti Smoking.”
Chelsea: ” Did you know smoking causes lung cancer.”
Serena: ” No but, I do know that 53,000 non- smokers died from second hand smoke.
Chelsea: ” Some teenagers picked up a cigarrette when they were 16 to 17 years old.
Serena: ” Dont let that be you.”
Chelsea: ” Smoking kills so why bother.”
Serena: ” Rembember make the right choice dont smoke.”

This is a movie written by Jasmin and Nicole. This wasn’t based on any assignment. According to our young movie makers, this was, “just for fun!” So, be warned and enjoy for the pure entertainment value it offers. I was certainly entertained. Kudos for Jasmin, Nicole, and Iggy for taking a risk and being creative at the same time!

SCRIPT:
“Hey Nicole can you help me study for our Open Court test tomorrow?” Jasmin asked.

“I’m kind of embarrassed to say this but I need help too.” Nicole admitted.

“Then who’s going to help us?” Jasmin questioned.

“I don’t know?” Nicole responded.

“Maybe Iggy?” Jasmin wondered.

“I guess. It’s worth a try.” Nicole agreed

“Okay. Then let’s go.” Jasmin told her.

(Walk over to Ignacio’s desk)

“Hey Iggy.” Nicole said.

“Hey.” Ignacio replied.

“Um, can you help me study the Open Court test tomorrow?” Jasmin mumbled.

“What?” Ignacio said in confusion.

“Ugh. Can you help us study for the Open Court test?” Nicole made clear.

“Oh sure.” Ignacio answered.

(Pull out papers and put on glasses)

“Sticky notes, sticky notes
That’s what you need
When you’re taking the test
With information, FYI
Main event and setting.” Ignacio sang.

“Sticky notes, sticky notes
They’ll help you
Pass that test” The girls continued.

“Sticky notes, sticky notes.” Ignacio added.

“Red, green
Orange and blue” Jasmin sang.

“Different sizes, shapes
And colors too.” Nicole sang.

“Sticky notes, sticky notes
That’s what you need
When you’re taking the test
With information, FYI
Main event and setting.” They all sang.

“Can I get an ME” Ignacio messed around.

“Haha. You wish.” The girls laughed.
(Through sticky notes at Ignacio)

“Bravo!” Jasmin shouted.
“No brava!” Nicole corrected her.

“Sticky notes!” Nicole and Jasmin yelled.
“Sticky notes!” Ignacio yelled after.

We are looking to win $25,000 in computer equipment, new video cameras, microphones and keyboards to create movies, music, and podcast. This video supplements our application to the Pepsi Refresh Project. What my 2009-2010 students started will continue to grow into “Empowering Students!” I’m excited.
