  1.     The sections “Who Were the Loyalists” and “Who Were the Patriots” explains how the two are sp different.
      There are four reasons why the Loyalists are loyal to the king. They believed the king had the right to rule the colonies. The Loyalists were afraid of the soldiers. They had family in England and they didn’t want to put them in danger. They also thought a goverment run by Patriots would be worse than the King. The Patriots had two reasons why they weren’t loyal to the King. Patriots wanted England to get rid of the taxes. They also wanted to be Free Americans not “British Americans”.
      The Loyalists had 5 nicknames for being Loyal. It was “Loyalists”,”Royalists”, “Friends of the Goverment”, “The King’s Friends” & “Tories”. The Patriots had 5 nicknames too. The “Rebels”, “Liberty Boys”, “Sons & Daughters of Liberty”, “Colonials”, and “Whigs”.
      Loyalists only had 3 supporters. The British had help with Native Americans, slaves from Africa, and England. The Patriots also had 3 supporters. France, Spain, & Holland were the Patriots supporters.
        In coclusion, these sections talk about how the Patriots and the Loyalists are different.

The Patriot’s nicknames were Rebels, Liberty Boys, Sons and Daughter of Liberty, Colonials, and Whigs. There were supporters that helped the Patriots and the Loyalists. The Loyalists had African Americans and Native Americans to support them. African Americans supported them because the Loyalist would free them. The Patriot’s side had the countries France, Spain, and Holland as supporters. In conclusion these two sections compares the differences of the Patriots and the Loyalists.
