With the help of www.creativewritingprompts.com and Keynote, I’m wanting my students to be able to write for a sustained period of time without stopping and focusing so much on punctuation, capitalization, etc at first.
Pepsi also cleared these songs to use in a movie we need to make “pitching our idea.” Sometimes listening to music first, helps with formulating an idea for later.
Good Dreams – Lucas Gonze

Can you guys call each other to remind others to check the blog. Comment back to let me know you know about the Refresh Project please : )
Get ready guys and gals. The organization that puts on the SEVAs is looking to interview you about your work. I’ve asked for either April 13, 14, and 15 between 10 – 12 o’clock. Be prepared to answer questions about your movie. They can’t interview everyone but we can be prepared.
Be warned: You will be filmed!
(Update 1: April 13th is our day! And no, the man in the picture is not giving the interview. Just some random dude.)
(Update 2: Here are the questions you’ll be asked…
What’s your name?
What video did you make?
What was your role in making the video?
What did you like most about making videos?
Any difficulties that you overcame during the process of making your video?
Learn anything new about making videos?
What makes a good educational video?
Is video a powerful tool to share your ideas?
What do you think about the SEVAs.
Do you think it’s important/special to make videos in school?)
Dropped off all 8 entries and met Doug Niva. I hope everything gets processed without a hitch. I’m excited. I know my students are excited. Again, it’s not about winning. It’s about making something and having other people enjoying the fruits of your labor.
Cheers! Here’s to movie making.
Hey, if you’re checking the blog while off-track, don’t forget to watch the Oscars. Listen to their “thank you” speeches. Think about what you might say (if you win an award). Think about your parents…
Check out the blogs below. Most are from different schools and grade levels. One blog is from a different country! Check out their projects and leave comments. Blogs thrive based on your participation so get out there and contribute!
