2019/2020 Membership Drive

“Let’s Have a Ball! Join PTA!” Our annual membership began on September 2nd! The Donner PTA supports and funds operations of the school such as Surf Shop, Teacher Appreciation, school and classroom supplies, school security, assemblies, etc. fully through PTA fundraisers and your PTAmembership. Be sure to join before October 31st so your child’s classroom earns credit for your individual PTA membership. You can sign up every adult member of your family including grandparents, mom/dads, aunts/uncles, etc.

This year is bubblegum themed! Every class will have a “bubblegum machine” displayed on a wall in the MP room. If you purchase a membership, your child will receive a “gum ball”. The primary and intermediate class with the most ‘gum balls’ (i.e. memberships) by October 31 will be rewarded with a bubble party!

Being a member of the PTA does not require you to volunteer, but allows you to vote at PTA meetings and most importantly, be involved in your child’s education. Completed forms can be returned to your student’s teacher, along with cash or a check, made out to “Elitha Donner PTA”. We thank you for your support in advance.

Notice to Families Regarding Public Charge Ruling

Dear Families,

Recently, the federal government issued a new Public Charge ruling, which changes some eligibility to federal government assistance programs for eligible immigrants and/or citizens who would qualify for assistance. Public schools and school meal programs are not affected by this new ruling and all Elk Grove Unified School District schools are Safe Zone Schools. All students are encouraged to attend school every day and enjoy the school breakfast and lunch program.

If your family or a family you know needs resources and or information about the new Public Charge Final Ruling, please visit http://www.egusd.net/students-families/family-and-community-engagement-face/

Estimadas Familias,
