Raymond Case is the best school for kids. A school is a place where kids come to learn and have fun. Going to school also keeps their brains healthy and gives them more knowledge. Raymond Case is a great school because it has sports, festivals, and after school activities.

The first reason why Raymond Case is the best school is because of sports. First, when you do sports you can make new friends. Also, you can get the exercise you need. Lastly, you can learn some great new skills that you’ve never known you could do. These show that schools need sports. Some may say that sports has nothing to do with school, but I disagree.

The next reason why Raymond Case is a great school is because of the festivals. During these fun festivals you can spend time with your friends and family. Also, you can try foods that you have never eaten before. Lastly, you can play fun games and sometimes you can get prizes. Many might say that festivals are boring, but they make me really happy.

The last reason why Raymond Case is a great school is because of the

thrilling after school activities. First, during these activities you can show your skills to other kids. Next, you can hang out with some of your friends. Lastly, you can have lots of fun. Many might say that activities aren’t something that kids will like, but I guarantee if you try after school activities you’ll love them.

     Ecosystems are really fun to learn about, and I am going to tell you about them right now. An ecosystem is a living system. That means that lots of living things live in an ecosystem like deer, bears, raccoons, and lots of other animals. Some ecosystems are oceans, forests, wetlands, and swamps. Any place where animals and plants live is an ecosystem. If you have been to the beach you have at least been to one ecosystem. The ocean has so many living things like fish and coral. We should also protect these areas. If we don’t terrible things will happen. If trees burn down in a jungle or a forest we won’t have fresh air to breath. Trees help make the air fresh and strong. When we don’t take care of ecosystems lots of animals will die. Animals depend on each other. We also need to be careful of setting fires. A forest fire can ruin a whole entire ecosystem. Ecosystems are very important to us and our world.

Helping people is important. In my heart, helping homeless people is important. Celebrating holidays is fun, but there are lots of people in the world that can’t celebrate many of the holidays. I would like to help them because people that don’t have homes miss out on all of the fun. We need to end that. Maybe their favorite holiday is Christmas or Easter. Everyone loves different holidays. To cheer the people up we can give to one another. Christmas is about kindness, love, sharing, and the birth of Jesus. Those people just need the holiday spirit inside of them. We can help by sharing. We can give things to them that they need like food and water. To also cheer them up we can get them presents on Christmas. Especially for the homeless kids.

My family and I love celebrating many holidays.  My favorite holiday to celebrate is Christmas. When my family celebrates Christmas we are celebrating the birth of Jesus Christ.   We have two Christmas trees. A big one and a smaller one. They are decorated with beautiful ornaments. On top of the bigger one we put an angel on it.  On the smaller one we put a star on the top. Before Christmas Eve my parents fill my family’s stockings. In the morning my siblings and I wake up our parents.  We run downstairs and get ready to open our stockings. There are many little presents in them. When we have finished opening our stockings we stay in our pajamas and we go to Ihop.  It’s a place where we get to eat pancakes. Sometimes people from my family like my aunt, uncle, cousins, and grandparents come to my house for Christmas. Every year we write the names of the six people in my family on little papers. Each person draws a name and that is who they get a present for. This year my cousins are doing that with us. Some special memories I have is that since I love hippopotamuses I got a new ornament that sings I Want a Hippopotamus for Christmas. Every year my siblings and I sleep under the Christmas tree. Christmas is my favorite time of the year.

The sun is our friend, but it can be a fiery beast. First, the sun was born when a cloud of dust and gas called a solar nebula collapsed. Also, deep inside the sun the temperature is 27 million degrees fahrenheit. The sun is really hot. Another cool fact about the sun is that every second the sun gets 4 million times lighter. That means that it loses weight. Also, every eleven or so years the sun lashes out a flare of energy powerful enough to reach earth. If it were to hit earth it would knock the power out. Another great fact is that it can help plants grow. Plants need the sun or else the won’t grow very well. The last fact is that all eight planets can fit into the sun about 600 times. The sun is a great source of nature.

Here are ways to write a quality comment. When you write a comment to another student or person should have positive language. You should never write something mean or inappropriate to someone else. You also shouldn’t put your first or last name, where you live, or when your birthday is. When you are writing to someone you should always have a capital letter at the beginning and punctuation. You should also be specific about what you are writing about when you are writing a comment. These are the ways you should write a quality comment.

One day a girl named Gertie was reading in her room. She got bored so she decided to go for a walk.

“ Mom I’m going on a walk!” she yelled. She took some bread crumbs from her pantry so she could feed the birds. Gertie walked out the the door and decided she wanted to go to the park. While she was walking she saw Mrs. Kathy. She is Gertie’s neighbor. She can’t see or hear very well, but she is a nice woman.

“ How are you today Mrs. Kathy?” she asked.

“I’m doing fine. I’m just going on a walk to get Dutch Bros coffee.” she answered.

“Ok. Bye.” Gertie replied. She started walking and got to the train track when a train was coming . Mrs. Kathy didn’t see it or hear it.

“Mrs. Kathy look out!” Gertie  screamed at the top of her lungs. Gertie ran towards her and pushed her out of the way. She got hit and when she landed on the ground he broke her leg! Mrs. Kathy ran to her.

“Gertie are you ok?”she trembled. She didn’t answer. Mrs. Kathy called her mom and 911. Her mom came running as fast as she could.

“Oh my gosh! Gertie are you ok?” she screamed in worry. The ambulance came and took her to the hospital. Her mom took care of Mrs. Kathy while Gertie was at the hospital. The Doctor had to do surgery on her leg. Three days after they put a cast on her leg, she was free to go home, but she had to use crutches.

To remember what this girl had done, we decided to build a monument of her. By the way, my name is Callie. My crew and I want to build this monument in Lake Tahoe on Mt. Laughter. Lots of people donated money for us to build the monument, but the amount was too little so we asked the President to come to Lake Tahoe and see what we needed. Finally he approved and decided to pay for it. It would cost  one million dollars. I thanked the President. We got all of the tools and supplies we needed.

“Okay everyone, let’s get to work right away!” I boomed. First, we sculpted what we wanted the model to look like. We used three thousand pounds of dynamite to blast of lots of rock away. The eyes were 1 inch long on the sculpture, but on the real monument the eyes are 10 feet long. It also took a long time to carve the nose. We strapped a worker to a chair and a crane lowered him down and he used the jackhammer to help carve the nose. We used a spinning tool to polish the surface. It took ten years until we were finished.

“I want to thank all of you that helped my crew and I build this monument. I think we have done a great job carving Gertie into the mountain.” I remarked. The day we let people visit was a big success. We also invited Gertie.

“You have been a great leader to our country. Now anyone can come visit this monument.” I beamed. Making this monument was a great idea, and my crew and I made a lot of money.

“Come back any time.” I stated. Now the whole country will remember what Gertie has done.
