Collect the Time for Kids homework
We are beginning a unit on fractions. Go over rounding frctions and mixed numbers and the concept of “more or less than half”. Do a lot of examples from the item bank; they have whiteboards they can work the problems on.
If there is time, have them go to my blog and do the math activity.
Then go over the homework pages (highlighted in blue), and give them until recess to work.

AR/Language Arts
My students will come in and get settled. Students will come in and begin to work on AR / Silent reading. Students will take tests and get books. They will use the laptops to take tests. Make sure they are taking tests if they have a laptop open. Have them read until 12:25.
Put the 5 vocab words on the board; have them copy them down. Then together find them in the story and discuss the meanings and write definitions in their notes
Put 12 “504 vocabulary” words on the board and talk about/write down definitions
Discuss and assign Spelling WB 40-41
Discuss and assign Comprehension WB 52-53
If time, let them work on homework
1:25 Write down HW (On the board)

1:30 EL/EO Support time
Some students leave and other students will be lined up outside to come in. Students are on an independent typing program. Monitor and record. They will tell you when they pass tests. They must pass each level 3 times before moving on. Record it on the spreadsheet.
