Week 3 Update
Sunday
Bought a new grocery-store bike on craigslist.com. I needed a bike to take on errands around town that I don’t have to worry about locking up outside. I had to rebuild the rear axle, so I went to the Davis Bike Church and got it done. What a great place! I also fixed up a cargo set-up to carry the groceries. Here it is plain:
And with the cargo set-up (yes, they are old recycle bins)
Also, I need to post a picture of my #1 bike, the Giant OCRc3
Monday
Watched Ashley’s team win 1-0 against Galt
Tuesday
Rode my bike to El Dorado Hills to see Casey’s softball game.
I also saw “No Country for Old Men”, which is now my favorite movie. Anton Chigurh is the greatest villian of all time.
Wednesday
I went to the Web2.0 Expo in San Francisco. It’s the future of the Internet. I’ll have more on that in the coming weeks.
Thursday
Got a haircut, finally. It looks much better. I’m going to Ashley’s last home game at CB. I’ll post pictures later.

Update
Casey got the boot off her foot on Friday and is walking well. She can start practicing softball again next Monday.
Trevor played Varsity B rugby on Friday and scored a try against Cordova. He is practicing and playing with Varsity B again today.
Ashley and I went to State Cup in Morgan Hill this weekend where they were 1-2, and eliminated. She plays tonight at Cordova Stadium at 6 o’clock.
Everyone has the day off from school today!

Bike to SF
Yes, I made it! 6.5 hours and 85 miles to the Vallejo Ferry, a trip across the bay, then spent the night at the hostel in Fort Mason. Beautiful view of Alcatraz and the Golden Gate Bridge, and only $26. Saw the protesters and that circus with the torch on Wednesday. A long and hard trip. I’m not sure if I’ll try that again,
