Open House

Welcome to Open House!

Please look around and celebrate the great work the students are doing this year. You’ll see examples of our expertise in technology, writing and reading. We’re very good at math, but you’ll have to take our word for it.

Lance

Former David Reese student Lance Briggs returned today to meet the kids and promote reading. It was great to see him again and I wish we had more time to talk. Lance played football at Elk Grove High School, the University of Arizona, and is currently an All-Pro linebacker and franchise player for the Chicago Bears. Lance played in last year’s Super Bowl and led the Bears with 11 tackles.

Thanks to Lance for taking the time to come back for a visit.

Update

Make sure that you tell me how the commercials persuade you and what they want you to believe.

Open House is this Thursday from 6-7. Come and see the Photoshop Wall, the AR points, and our Greek projects. I will have a list of all the books you’ve read this year, so you can show it to your parents.

You will have a chance to show off your blog!

How was that, Travis and Jackie?
