If I had one vacation left, where would I go? I think I would try to combine all the best elements of travel. I would want warmth and the beach. I would want beautiful scenery and lots of good food. I would want sites to see and places to relax. I’ve never been to Italy, but I’m sure it fits the bill. Possibly the Riviera, the Costa del Sol, or the Algarve in Portugal.

But if I had to choose right now, it would be Madeira, which has all these things. A nice room at the Hotel Madeira overlooking the park. Great food at Dos Combatentes, wander the streets, hike on the levadas.
